shareThe premiere episode is quite good. I'll keep watching. With Twin Peaks as its lead-in, not only will it probably do very well, it also gives Showtime what is easily premium cable TV's strongest Sunday night prime time lineup, at the moment.

shareSecond episode was better than the first--more character development. I'm seeing some folks comparing this to Vinyl, a series through which I could not watch a complete episode and I FUCKING LOVE rock and roll. I managed two rock bands in the 70s. Vinyl was like having a Pulled Pig sandwich at the Hard Rock, a corporate-approved homage. This feels like what I want, which is entertainment. Keeping my fingers crossed. "Dying is easy. Comedy--now, that's hard."
