Anyone catch this episode? I work in IT at a hospital and thought it was hilarious when they did not have their technology. I have fielded the same questions from doctors, "how do we. . .". Love the answer from the Ms. Goodwin!

I like the show but it seems as soon as it happened they should've alerted the patients and given them the option to go to another hospital.

Hospitals are big business. They will do quite a bit to keep their patients.

Oh I get why the hospital did that, but it didn't seem in the patients' best interest.

I saw it too, it was odd that NCIS had a nearly identical story in the same week, except they didn't pay the ransom. NCIS New Orleans also had a similar story a few months ago, and Macgyver not long ago. Criminal Minds had a hacking episode some years ago too, it seems every show uses that story at least once.
