Should have been the end. Do we really need to spend more time in our lives watching these kids get progressively older while fighting the same monster?
share It’s weird as I’m watching season 4 right now. It’s enjoyable enough but every time the “villain” comes on screen my eyes glaze over as I just don’t care about seeing a cgi alien thing .. I mostly enjoy the time period the show takes place and characters.
Without the nostalgia aspect though I don’t think this show would be nearly as popular
Don't worry. Season 5 will be the last one. The Duffer Brothers have said that they want to keep the story in the 1980s, and they now have a real plan in mind on how to bring it all to a decent conclusion.

shareI know, the show is all about nostalgia, though they did show some negative aspects of the 80s in the show too. I mean, you had Joyce and her family living in a crappy little house near the woods, El getting bullied at her new school, Max living in a trailer with an alcoholic mother, etc.
