How did Thanos cure himself from Thor's deadly hit with Stormbreaker?

Within a few seconds of Thanos completing the gauntlet, Thor flew high in the air with Stormbreaker, and used it to hit Thanos with lightning, then hovered for a few seconds before Thanos fires an energy beam using all six stones.

Hardly a plot hole. Thanos is as resistant to harm as Hulk or Thor himself; probably more so. He might have been stunned by Thor's strike but little more.

He just hit him with lightning. Thanos is strong enough to take the hit. Pretty obvious.
