I watched that video again and the acting by Brie Larson is spot on as well as understated for effect. Vers recognizes she is being controlled and lied to by the Supreme Intelligence but then rises, announces her REAL name, reclaims her humanity with a tear running down her face and lashes out at the Supreme Intelligence without fear.

The personal story plus action in that one scene is quite balanced.

Nicely put. To me she embodied this character in every way (that’s damn right).
