I know it was a huge hit back in 2002 but no one really quotes it anymore and, if someone were to ask who was in the movie, I'm sure most people would be rushing to their phones to answer that question.
It just doesn't seem like it has any staying power, so what's really the point of making a sequel 14 years later?

There's been other movies, not a lot but others, that have had a sequel released YEARS later also. Independence Day Resurgance was released just a week short of 20 years after Independence Day. Star Wars The Phantom Menace was released 16 years after Return of the Jedi. Zoolander 2 was released 14 years after Zoolander, Jurassic World was also released 13 years after Jurassic Park 3.

LOL....oh no....nobody quotes it. I can quote movies and tv shows from 50+ years ago to present, but I don't. Thank god. Loved the original My Big Fat Greek Wedding.

shareThe first one was something family oriented and simple but entertaining. This was just cashing in more on it and trying to be more PC and outrageous. It failed just like Ghostbusters.

shareHow could I forget such a film? It was such a fun, sweet, funny movie, though I was somewhat dubious about the sequel. I haven't seen it yet, but I'm impressed they were able to bring back the original cast, which is often a problem with movie sequels.
