9 seasons coming up and Rick is leaving. It has to end soon. The only way I can see a good ending is for our heros to find peace. As in a end to the zombie threat. How they do this I don't know..thru science? There was a helicopter in last season so there is soneone left with some tech. I just can't see a end with the horrow world of walkers. Just fight another badguy and ending the show will be a let down.

shareAgreed completely. This show is a waste of time. 1st 3 seasons went nowhere, and this 4th season is trying to reboot with new characters but right away they are in cruise control treating the characters like we already know them and doing these close close up and personal stories.

How are we supposed to "know" these new characters without some "close close up?" I like the new characters.
I hated this show 1st season except for a few characters. The show grew on me 2nd season. Easily done since WD had turned into such a boring slog. It's had its ups and downs but even in its current season, I rank it better than what WD has been for the last two years.
How should it end? In the year 5018, archeologists are digging on a site and one of them says "hey! WTF? Something bit me in the dirt"

We learn about the characters when they interact with each other and we see them as a group trying to make progress at something. These up close looks presumes we know them and care about them, but we don't. Can you honestly say we know anything about the group dynamics and where the story is going?
The walkers just give up because the show is too boring even for them? like: fuck it we are out.
