Now its Alicia's turn to go "find herself"
Find shelter/new group, go on mission, get separated from family, One of them decides to leave and repeat.
She already found herself, but she deferred to her mother because it made sense to keep the family together and find somewhere safe, etc. She left because she is honoring her promise to the dying woman not to let fear rule her decisions. And after this episode, she realizes holing up with her family is probably the worst thing to do. If they were down in the pantry she would have had to had to kill them too.
She wants to be more like Strand. He gets around and knows where to find things, and he already saved their asses multiple times because of it. Alicia will never travel in style like him though.
It is completely unrealistic that this kid would do this. She has absolutely no "real life" experiences or skills. Gimme a break, she's a freakin' drama queen which won't get her very far and likely get her dead. Oh wait, Nick the d*ck is following her 😌
