It's 100% communism. More on the anarcho-communism side, but that is what it is.

whatever you want to call it, definitely better than how they lived in the QZ.

The QZ's were fascist states, complete with quasi Stormtroopers. I'll take the commune all day over that.

Oh, for sure. This kind of community is a LOT better to live in, IF it can survive like that and has the right human material.
