reply

and released Dec 25 (2015)

reply

Yes it is, watch it every year around dec 23rd with a glass of brandy

reply

Yeah. Christmas is all about rape and violece. :( Seriously, if you watch this at Christmas you are a weirdo!

reply

there's rape in this movie?

reply

Yeah. Samuel L. Jackson forces a guy against his will to strip naked and give him a blowjob which is gross.

reply

so no hetero rape?
hard pass then

reply

No, he didn't. He told that made-up story simply to get the old racist to draw and thus shoot him.

reply

Its debatable, but possible as he was proven a liar with the Lincoln letter. Either way its likely he did kill his boy

reply

Yeah, it's possible he killed the guy's son, but the fellatio story was so over-the-top we know it was made-up. He just wanted to provoke the old man to draw so he could justifiably kill him.

reply

Except they show the guy giving Samuel L. Jackson a blow job! So your point is moot. And I admit I am in the minority thinking all blowjobs straight or homosexual/Lesbian are all gross and that anyone who enjoys them is a weirdo.

reply

I agree the scene is totally gross and I'd prefer it wasn't in the movie. I'm just saying that Samuel L. Jackson's character told this intentionally offensive tale simply to provoke the racist codger.

reply

Yeah. They should have simply had Samuel L. Jackson say that his son begged for mercy and bragged about how he wasn't going to ever show him mercy. That'd have pissed him off enough.

reply

I watched it around Christmas time also.
And if i was gonna watch it again probably would do the same

reply

I inadvertently watched it for Christmas just the other night (not realising it was a Xmas movie) , the reason was id recently caught the second half of Django on TV (not seen it in years) and enjoyed it so much I dug out the dvd and watched it in its entirety. then decided to watch Hateful8 (like DU not seen it since it came out and had forgot most of it)

Other movies I try to watch again around this time of year if get around to it are Batman Returns, Gremlins, Die Hard, Star Trek Generations (and Patrick Stewarts Christmas Carol tv movie), Turbulence, Tales from the Crypt (Joan Collins/Santa), The Snowman..i guess I can now I can add Hateful8 to the list
