Lol are they actually expecting people to believe Jigsaw is alive?

All the trailers try and make it out like Jigsaw is back and he didn't die. Lol we fucking saw them cutting his body up in an autopsy, we saw them take his brain out, was that John's identical twin brother? Lol i wouldn't put it past this series to pull that.

That's what exactly what I'm thinking. We know he died so how does he fit in the new film? In the trailer it's revealed that John Kramer's DNA is on of the victims? How is that possible if he died 10 years ago? Anyway as we all know that Jigsaw is dead it's obvious he's gonna be shown in flashbacks. However I won't really buy into that. This film is set 10 years after John Kramer's death so I find it unbelievable that they'll show flashbacks that are connected to this film.

What you said about John having an identical twin brother is interesting because I've seen a lot of people on the internet say that as one of the possibilities but I doubt it. So the questions everyone's trying to figure it out is: Who's taken on the mantle of Jigsaw after 10 years? Is it yet another accomplice Jigsaw had all along? Is it someone who got inspired by Jigsw's method? By the end of this month our questions will be answered.

Either that, someone dug up his body, or the trailer is misleading...and they usually are.

I think they are counting on non-fans/idiots to think that Jigsaw is somehow alive and to go to the theatre to find out.

That's an interesting suggestion. We all know that the producers of Saw and Lionsgate are perhaps trying to vote for hungriest money franchise of all time. Wonder how many sequels they will make?

They'll get to Jigsaw VII 4D and then re-reboot and call the new franchise Jig. Jk.

I don't even know what they would call a sequel to Jigsaw (Jigsaw 2? Sounds stupid) but I'd bet that they get as far as 3. Would be best to do it that way and just tell a good trilogy story but obviously keep things as connected to the previous franchise as much as possible instead of doing a completely brand new storyline with all new characters.
