Does this film praise Communism?

Doesn't say anything about Communism. Wish it had said more about the American Communists though.

"facts are stupid things" Ronald Reagan

Unfortunately it doesn't talk enough about how awesome communism is.

As I wrote in another post. . .
Trumbo may have been a communist but he didn't try to convert anyone to his politics. I think he really was more of a democratic socialist, like Bernie Sanders. Trumbo was concerned about racism for instance. He was accepting of others but kept his beliefs about a better world through support and sharing to himself.

There is no communism, it doesn't exist.
The movie criticizes the establishment harassment and oppression of
people who were often some of the best most creative Americans.

But, you go watch it and make up your own mind instead of trying
to incite and argument.

They're not the "best" for writing some Hollywood movies.

It whitewashes communists as victims of an anti-communist establishment that in reality was just the head eating the tail.

reply

No not really. Although some people were supposed to be Communists they didn't try to gain others to be Communists.
