"When they finally called me to let me know they were bringing me in, what was strange was that I had a lifestyle change [in real life]," Huell Babineaux actor Lavell Crawford explained.

"I lost 130 pounds, so I look totally different, which was great for the prequel for him to be in decent shape because you wouldn’t hire a bodyguard if he can’t do nothing.

"When they saw me, they were like, “Man, I think you lost too much weight!” They had already filmed my parts but they had a few more pieces to get, so they were trying to put a fat suit on me. That’s so hilarious."

"I think my weight loss helped me be secure because people didn’t know who I was," he said.

I wonder how hank looks like now

How is that the same person? Does losing weight give you totally different eyes? Weird!

Yeah, got to say I didn't really recognize him from BB. Mostly through logic did I realize this must be Huey coming into Jimmy's life for the first time.

Crazy that losing weight can change a guy so much. But good for him that he managed it.

I recognized him instantly, the moment he appeared on the stairs, before he even bumped into Chuck. I did think he looked different, and assumed he must have lost weight, but I couldn't be sure because it's been years since I saw him in Breaking Bad. But I recognized him. Great moment. I always liked Huell, so i'm glad he's finally appeared in Better Call Saul. Hopefully he'll be a regular now.

I was happy to see that Lavell Crawford looked much thinner. Being the weight he was was death sentence. It was great scene.
