With billions and billions of planets I think the odds are better that there is other intelligent life somewhere than not. I mean if it was only a few thousand planets or maybe even 100,000 planets, then maybe not. But with billions upon billions of planets out there?? I'm sure there's more intelligent life somewhere.

There is very likely microbial life in different places in the solar system. Water-intensive moons like Enceladus most likely have them. Jupiter could have extremophiles in its atmosphere, etc. "Intelligent" life is confined to Earth.
