Why does this actor warrant two IMDb entries?

Roseanne Barr worked and was credited as Roseanne Arnold at one time. Yet there is no IMDb entry for Roseanne Arnold.

Kanye West changed his name to Ye. But he still has one entry despite the name page. The name of the Kanye West page is now Ye. He doesn't have two separate entries. One entry for this man: https://moviechat.org/nm1577190/Ye

So why is there a new page for Elliot Page? https://moviechat.org/nm0680983/Elliot-Page

Why wasn't the name on this page simply changed?

Is the implication here that this is a different individual? Is this transphobic? Is this schizophrenic? Is IMDb making a diagnosis?

This entry is for an episode of a tv show and not for the actor.

Sure, and that's why I cited IMDb, and not MovieChat. If IMDb creates a page, it can be accessed by posters on MovieChat.

But does every episode of The Daily Show have a page? I see this one does and it's titled "Ellen Page". The whole show was her/him/zer/zim/whatever?

Can you show me a list of all the pages for every episode of The Daily Show? I'm not doubting you. I just can't find them.

She doesn’t warrant it. In fact she probably doesn’t want this one to exist.

She went off to pretend she is a man and a new page (no pun intended) was created on this site for that “identity.”

But this original Ellen Page discussion page was kept for those of us who wish to discuss the real Page and her previous roles.

We ignore her new cos-play page.
