Between given too much creative control over the direction plus his unprofessionalism on set, he honestly was the true final nail in the coffin for this franchise that went on longer than it should have. Now he won't even get the trilogy of final films that he wanted and instead it's reduced to two.

shareI agree. It was getting really over the top in 7. But I still had a bit of suspension of Disbelief. After 7 they took the next three films (and Hobbs and Shaw) to ridiculous places I didn't think they would. ....I was a huge fan of these films....and sadly I want to see the characters I once loved to just end and not come back...
shareI wish they would get back to the more grounded action like Brian driving his car and landing it on top of a boat in 2 Fast 2 Furious...
It's more realistic stuff like that they should be getting back to.
