There are millions of photographs of Elizabeth Taylor. As soon as archaeologists come up with some clear color photos of Cleopatra, we'll be able to settle the question of how closely they resemble each other. In the meantime, since Cleopatra was the product of very closely controlled breeding within a royal Macedonian lineage, we can state with certainty that she was a white woman.
