Wedding singer didn't work

This week's episode failed very badly at it's attempt to capitalize on the wedding singer being an 80s movie. Hopefully they don't try that again.

Really? I thought it was quite impressive how they were able to edit the movie in with the show. The special appearance of Jon Lovitz dressed the same as in The Wedding Singer was an added bonus.

The only thing I didn't like was the fact that Drew Barrymore never really sported a 1980s style while everybody else did.

But, that's just the movie.

The seats on the airplane didn't cone close to matching among other things. My wife is pretty forgiving about those type of things, but even she complained that it took her out of it.

I actually thought they did alright for the most part.

It's a bit of a gimmick, and isn't something that should be repeated. But as a one-time thing, I thought they edited it together quite well, so the episode held up as entertaining.
