Fun. Your typical Korean revenge flick. It's entertaining. They are remaking this in the U.S. for release in 2024.

shareI might check this out. South Koreans rarely disappoint, and I really loved The Killer (from 2022 or 2023, can't remember which), as it was a nice masculine throwback to when men were men and women were women.
shareI enjoyed Ballerina slightly more than The Killer, mainly because of the soundtrack and cinematography – very cool and stylish film.
shareCinematography was absolutely gorgeous and the editing was equally as on point to really highlight the perfect colour grading and tone of the film. Soundtrack was awesome too.
The fight scenes were a bit more realistic here in this film, but I felt The Killer was overall more entertaining in terms of I was really rooting for him to dish out some righteous justice, plus I thought he looked really cool doing it.
