Ultra mega corny, artificial, bad kid actors and many pointless characters.

That's it.
I don't know how this has 8.0 on imdb. It's a 6.0 at best.

It wasn't that bad, but this is, basically, a remake of "Jack" with Robin Williams.

reply

Wrong. It was based off a book. The author was inspired to write it after she saw a child with the same facial deformity. Her son was scared by him so she wrote a story about what his life must be like. This was explained in a 20/20 interview. No mention of Robin Williams.

reply

Do you, honestly, believe that the author of the book hasn't seen "Jack" or "Mask" or any similar movie?

reply

I didn’t say that. I told you what the author said inspired her. They were not my words but her’s. I have no idea if she’s seen the movie but the illness is nothing new. Her goal was share awareness about the illness so kids wouldn’t be afraid of someone who is different. Even before Mask people has some knowledge about the illness.

reply

Also you compare this Jack but the movie Jack is loosely based on an illness called progeria. Progeria is a progressive genetic disorder that causes children to age rapidly.

Wonder is based off an illness that is limited to the facial features.

reply

Yes, but the story line is basically the same.
