kind of looks like the PT but with the OT/ST cast which kind of makes sense in bridging the trilogies/epic finale.

I wonder if that's one of the main problems and why they wanted Trev gone.. they didn't want IX being so prequel heavy with a return to Coruscant, the DOTF title etc, over focusing more on the OT with the Emperor/DeathStar ruins etc. and also less regard to following TLJ after the 'woke' backlash and big drop in box office from TFA (so they brought back JJ to focus on OT stuff over PT and crafting a sequel more to TFA instead of TLJ)

also when CFisher died they'll have had to completely rethink the plot ..which probably made Disney/KK etc rethink the whole concept of Trevorrows IX

WOW! We should just write the Michael Bay esque trash that is TROS off from existence and officially pronounce Duel of The Fates the real Episode IX. Having the full script along with this concept art may not be the same as if we got the real thing, but given the circumstances it's more than enough :)

Is this from the book, or bunch of rebels in lf leaking?

reply

Its the kind of stuff that would appear in the 'Art of' book.

Apparently there hasn't been one for IX yet.. probably wasn't time to do any for TROS so no Art of Book!

reply

Its coming soon, next month I think

the Concept Art from Colin Trevorrow's EP IX looks awesome. the battle of Coruscant looks cool.

judging the script and the Concept art of Colin Trevorrow's EP IX ‘Duel of the Fates’. sounds and looks like his version of EP 9 is a sequel to TLJ.

reply

it does seem very much TLJ 2 whereas TROS was TFA 2

God I just hope the script starts making its rounds on the internet soon. I want to read it (and keep it treating it as gold) soooooooo bad.

reply

it will, several people have read it, but that was first draft before Carrie died, it had a major rewrite
