Force heal?

If force heal is possible then why didn’t Palpatine just heal himself when Windu effed him up? Why didn’t Yoda just force heal all the youngling jedis when they were being slaughtered? I think they did the series Mandalorian just so they could warm to the idea of force heal. When I saw baby Yoda try to heal Mando the first time, I remember thinking, “oh that’s new.” I feel like this movie was trying to be more like a superhero movie than a sci-fii action adventure.

Yeah you'd think Force healing would be a day 1 intro to being a Jedi course. And I don't buy for a second that it's some lost discipline, when Force ghost who can teach the living new techniques are very much a thing in this universe.

The force heal ability was bought about by Rey and Kylo being a dyad in the force.
This is why we see the emperors hand heal when he zapped them both and it was why only Rey and Kylo can force heal.

Makes no sense. So only grandchildren of jedis and siths get Thanos powers?

It's called magic. Once they turn to the light they automatically know force heal or in this case. It's a new thing never seen in any star wars universe brought to you by Jar Jar Abrams where it would takes years to master and to be taught or read from sacred texts now just takes mere moments of just being on the light side of the force. Cool huh?
