Rey should of been Lukes daughter

and at the begining , this revelations exposed, Luke put Rey in hiding so that snoke couldnt find her and seduce her to the darkside, he went in hiding for her own protection , if snoke could get to Luke, he could get to Rey. Luke trains Rey , Rey and Luke come to the resistence rescue , Luke and Rey defeat Snoke, and in thsi battle snoke reveals his true identity, Kylo is injuried protecting his master, but escapes.

Better than RJs story thats for sure.

I guess its too late now unless JarJar retconns the story to make her a somebody instead of a nobody. Making Rey a nobody ruins the entire SW saga.

I am guessing we will see a twist in episode 9 where Rey is revealed to indeed be, like you put it, a somebody. Reason for it would be all the fan critique. Could just be explained as Kylo having lied.

Granted if she turned out to be a Skywalker after all it would be pretty strange how Luke and Leia didn't know but the scriptwriters will come up with some reason. Even if the explanation is a bit convoluted it's not going to matter much. People will cheer in the cinema and think it's awesome. Makes sense JJ would like some "I am your father" like reveal in his movie. He likes to copy stuff after all ;)

No...just no. It's sad that some people are still trying to convince themselves that "this" character being "that" character's secret kid is somehow going to turn bad storytelling into good storytelling.
