I was surprised how Zac Efron and Lily Collins both were amazing in it.

I thought they did a fantastic job with the makeup on Efron, he looked pretty close like Ted Bundy. And Zac Efron's performance.. wow! His performance was the greatest thing of the movie. Just look his eyes, he was just scary and crazy in it. I mean, you can see his two faces in the movie. And I was also surprised how Lily Collins was so good in it. Both really nailed the roles.

And to note, I thought this was absolutely a fantastic biography/crime film. I feel people are missing the point.

it was good acting by both. a little too much romanticizing about a creepy killer though.

Wow. Just Wow. Zac did a great job.
He had range. And it's obvious he studied Ted's mannerisms.
The makeup department did a great job in making him look like a grownass man and not a kid.

I didn't find the he glamorized the role at all.
And I Agree, you could tell what mood Zac as Bundy was in by the look in his eyes.
