Lets keep those seeds in...

lock and key with a front window for all to see. It's like labeling a piece of paper 'NUCLEAR CODES' behind an enclosed box with glass front near where refugees can see when getting medically checked. Should be behind a frigging safe behind some painting with guards outside and near an intercom with 2 extra guards nearby in case something happens to the 2 door guards. Literally the fate of the world hangs in their hands and they have it out in the open in a portable closed box that looks easily breakable. Ugh! these shows make me wonder why even bother. Might as well just hand it to them with such incompetence.

Knew S4E6 was gonna piss me off... sigh. So many unnecessary deaths too. 3 medics, 1 guard, 1 chief engineer.

reply

Totally agree. Chandler shot the British spy, runs after him, but then pauses for a minute with the Chief Engineer, just to say "Don't Die. Stay with me. Go away from the light. I'm gonna miss ya buddy." He didn't even try to stop the bleeding, or carry him to the med bay, or call for help.

If he had immediately gone after the spy, he would have caught up and prevented the seed transfer to Fletch.

Also, when Green spots the spy in the hallway, he just basically yells "Hey you stop!" instead of shooting the SOB. He stole the seeds. The world is on the brink of starvation. If the James looses the seeds, the Greek fleet will open fire. Don't talk. Just shoot.

AND, why didn't the security teams have radios? Transmitting "Hey, he's on deck 3, aft." or "One of the refugees is a bad guy." might have been helpful.

reply

Actually he should've stayed at the spot where he shot the guy in the first place since he still had a clear shot of him at that distance. If he moved he should've shot him again before running down to check on the chief engineer and regain the seeds beside him. As for shooting the sob inside, don't think that was a good idea since if he missed, that could ricochet in the closed quarters they were in.

Agreed with the radios. They also have intercoms around the ship as well and the ship isn't really that large I think to have that particular section just magically isolated while they were on battle stations mode with guards looking for them.

A lot of reasons why this show is just stupid. I really liked the first
few episodes of season 1, the woman doctor, Tex, and others, but
this turned so stupid so fast. Like burning bodies to provide energy.
Terrible.

Sooo agree - I am NOT impressed by the new season so far - ffs who is writing this s**t!
***spoiler alerts***
That unsecured mini fridge with a f'ing spotlight on the seeds drove me nuts...I mean make an effort no? Put the things is a safe where the bad guys have to come up with some plan to get them out! Also how they didn't pat down the greek girl or cuff her before sending her off with Slaterry by himself ...just like they were able to hang out windows with machine guns and NOT ONE of the 20 people by the pool see them, not to mention that they had like 10 good minutes to kill the bad guy by the pool from afar but wait until he's behind a pilar to start shooting etc... I could go on and on...I feel like the writers are phoning it in and the actors too at this stage because their lines and actions are such rubbish they can't take it seriously -so disapointed! I was looking forward to this show coming back! Last season wasn't as good as the previous ones but I still had hope - I was wrong.

I started watching this with B Movie goggles. Watched for fun and not to be taken seriously. I mean come on, if this was a Steven Seagall film it'd be exactly what you expected.

ROFL! S4E10. They recover the seeds and put it right back in the SAME place that it was first stolen from and in open view. Dear god this just doesn't get any more stupider than that. Would be even more hilarious if they lost it again to a different group cause Chandler loves them refugees.

"Dear god this just doesn't get any more stupider than that"

Nice grammar! I believe the correct phrase should be "more stupidierish".
