Brosnan talks about that lost Tarantino Bond film

Every article this magazine publishes about Bond is either outright fake news or manufactured 'news' to push an agenda such as Idris Elba or even Rami Malek playing James Bond which they were still pushing literally only days before Malek was cast in NTTD, not as Bond, but as a villain. Go look back if they haven't deleted the articles to cover their asses yet.

There is no lost Tarantino film. They are writing about this non-existent film because they want it to exist and they want to influence the fans and producers into giving Tarantino a chance in the future. Other than the basic fact that Tarantino is a pretentious twat with no film-making ability, the one and only reason his desired Bond film will never be made is because the Bond character is always adapted to a contemporary setting. Tarantino wants to make a Fleming-era Bond film in the 50's which would be an unprecedented, yet terrible idea. The producers made the correct decision almost 60 years ago to always adapt Bond to the time and place that they were making these films, and that tradition should remain even if they've done a crappy job of it lately.

Correct. This was never a lost film. It was Pierce and Quinton spouting ideas over drinks. Dalton's third Bond movie is what I would call a lost Bond movie.

I would love it if Tarantino announces he's been in lockdown researching legal shit and found a loophole that will enable him to make a Bond film and intends to start shooting with The Bros soon as the mofo'ing lockdown is lifted

reply

The loophole is "release the film in Canada".

Of course, that's a really limited market, but he could do it...
