Not a Decent Actor in the Whole Cast

I'm done with Broadchurch. I'm finishing up the first season and just watched the scenes in which Hardy reveals the killer to Ellie and then the family. I'm not even going to watch the end of the episode. Those scenes were the worst acting yet but the whole season has been just one long table read as far as I'm concerned.

Not once did I forget that those people on my screen were saying lines written by someone else. The bad acting never allowed me to lose myself in the story.

I gave this a 3 but that may be a stretch. The cliffs were pretty and conveyed a lot more real emotion than the "actors."

Don't tell me you love animals if that's cow muscle on your plate.

I don't agree with that about the whole cast, but I certainly felt that way about the actress playing the dead boy's mother. She just couldn't convey gut-wrenching grief.

I have to agree with you there. I thoroughly disliked pretty much all the characters not only due to bad acting but to completely unrealistic acting as well. You honestly couldn't get close to any of the characters.

Everyone in the cast is exceptionally good.
