Wonderful, beautiful, funny film

I really enjoyed this film. It is beautiful, funny, and moving. Bill Murray gives one of his best performances in years and Melissa McCarthy is wonderful here. Naomi Watts is fantastic and young Jaeden Martell is a delight. The screenplay is excellent and it is a shame that the film didn't get any Oscar nominations. It deserved at least a couple. I highly recommend the wonderful, sweet film, St. Vincent. It will leave you with a tear in your eye, a lump in your throat, and a smile on your face. My rating is a 9/10.

I live in Sheepshead Bay and agree what a nice film this is.
Naomi was so convincing in her role, she deserves a nod

I liked it too when I saw it in theaters when it came out. I'd like to watch it again sometime. I think one of the funniest scenes is when the kid is watching Abott and Costello and the kid asks, "Are they really old now?" and Vincent replies, "No they're dead." And then the kid shares some belief that Vincent finds weird.

It is a great film. Vin's devotion to his wife Sandy who apparently had dementia was beautiful and his friendship with Daca and Oliver was wonderful. I loved the story.
