HORRIBLE AWFUL ACTING: BRETT ROBERTSON and EXTREME LEFTIST GARBAGE FIRE

Who in the heck in responsible for this pile of heaping, confusing poo poo?
I would consider myself moderately left but this obvious AGENDA FILLED, garbage fire helps me to reconsider anything "liberal." For a movie that pretends to have created a world where the great minds, artists and scientists exist FREE OF POLITICS, this movie is nothing but politics.
It's BLATANTt:
A. Over the top butt kicking skinny, precocious chicks
B. "Save the planet...." who's gonna fix it? subtext
C. Coke and apple product placement

Brett herself is just awful. That look on her face when she's amazed and when she's afraid is grating to the nerves. One OP said he thinks that she appears to be "self conscious," with her acting. I think that's part of it. As I watched the film I just knew something was off about her beyond her acting. Then I realize that she's 25/26 years old! A grown woman. Julia Robert's daughter. NEPOTISM is alive and well in hollywood...

All in all the movie was showing promise until she appeared.

The worse thing about this movie besides the product placement and the items mentioned above is the strategy imbedded in its story to not merely entertain but to manipulate the minds of younger viewers. We the millennials have been indoctrinated now we're trying to poison the minds of the next generation. I'm open minded about the possibilities still of man made global warming despite the shill histrionics of the left and the greedy corporate despots of the right.
But we should be empowering people to learn how to think critically and for themselves not feed impassioned, bias information that passes off as light entertainment without, at least, sharing all possible sides.

yes it was terribly disappointing.

Not very leftist actually. Lefties love the distopia of Greta Thunberg. This movie is more about the utopia and trust in the future and the progress of technology

I can't see anywhere that she's Julia Robert's daughter? She does have the same smile so I can believe she's her daughter but there's no mention of it on either's bio.
Agree with the main point of the thread though. Completely.

Britt sounds like her and she even played her daughter in Mother's Day.
