set in the far future?

maybe it was actually set in the far future.. like 1000 years from now?

the bit where Noah talks about the 7 days (each day obviously representing eons of time) and then the fall of man we see the various soldiers killing and it goes through all the way to modern day warfare and ends with a futuristic looking soldier (maybe that was suggesting thered been a WW3 at some point?)
