Change in style the real issue?
Race doesn’t seem to be an issue as much as Abercrombie & Fitch just not evolving its style of clothing and marketing with the times. The frat boy/preppy fashion and culture of A&F just hasn’t been in style as much in recent years, and white dudes with abs don’t seem to be praised as the epitome of beautiful/popular men anymore compared to the target demographics of the early 2000s when most of the “controversies” take place. Also I don’t like how this documentary overuses “white” when describing everything. For example whenever they said something like “we were just a bunch of white dude” as if being white defines one’s personality/behavior.
