Could have cut down the length by.....(SPOILERS)

.....Cutting down the whole Thomas Wayne hiring Falcone to silence the journalist story.

It really felt out of the place and uncalled for; just bloated the movie a bit.

This part was actually pretty good. Showed a human/doubting side of Bruce Wayne, strengthened his relationship to Alfred, and made Falcone more sinister.

Seconded. It was needed to really shake Bruce's convictions, before we see the unmasking of the shotgun guy at the end and hear him speak those dreaded three words. Without Bruce starting to see nuance in his hero (his father) how can he start to understand that his crusade must be balanced as well?

I thought it was the perfect length. I loved it.

It was a little long but I still think it worked. I wonder if the problem was the fact they didn't go for an origin story, which I'm kinda glad they didn't as we've already seen that a few times. But they still had to introduce this films Gotham which is what took most of the time
