It won't be- it will deal with the legend, not the facts. There's enough corroborated reports that categorically state Bonnie Parker never killed a single person, yet even in the trailer you see her shooting people all over the place.
That means they're going to the action, not any kind of story based on truth.

Even if she never pulled the trigger on anyone herself, and there's no proof she didn't, only speculation and unreliable testimony, she aided, abetted, willingly and enthusiastically accompanied, comforted, harbored, and supported those who did, and participated in their extensive crime spree that resulted in numerous fatalities. She was as guilty as any of them.
