So I feel like Spencer and Julia have been trying to get to the U.S. for like 5 years. Now they just made it to England?? At this rate Spencer is going to show up at Yellowstone and Beth is going to greet him by telling him to get the f*** off their land.

shareI agree. I think it was because the show was originally planned for one season (or so I've read), but the ratings were so good they decided to do a second season. And it looks like, not having another story ready for a second season, they decided to take the story they had and stretch it out to cover both. The result is the episodes seem to drag, and there is a lot that looks like filler in each episode.
shareYeah, it almost feels like they were originally making a movie and then just kept sticking more stuff in it. It's not just slow, but the themes are incredibly repetitive. All the character arcs just keep resetting over and over again.
