Last Man Standing's Fox premiere is definitely political

Despite Tim Allen's insistence that his sitcom isn't a political show, the Fox premiere does tackle the political divide. "While the episode doesn't specifically mention the president by name, or even mention political parties at all, lines are drawn in the sand between the left and the right," says Megan Vick. "Unlike Roseanne, which jumped into the specific issues that separated the Conners, Last Man Standing just wants to address the split happening in families as conservatives and liberals separate into their own factions."

As opposed to liberal shows, who have no factions because they're all liberal characters.

This is a serious criticism and not the Onion?

It's always been a political show. Just not a biased show. I quite liked the premiere. I like how it illustrated there has always been a divide and despite how nuts shit seems now, it's just business as usual and nearly as bad as it's been in the past.

True. The OP (original poster) prompted me to make a point (despite my hatred of any poltical preaching right to left).

Here goes:
(the contemporary) ROSEANNE bit off more than you can chew with the Valerie Jarrett comment (though, as voted who did'nt like Pres.Obama and voted always against him, I found it funny, though not so much dated as typical Barr-Arnold VULGARITY)

On the other hand, Tim Allen's not vulgar (compared to Rosie B-A).
