No Government Has The Right

No Government has the right to detain anyone for scientific study because of curiosity or fear of a condition they have, unless you have clear and undeniable proof it could harm others. Examination of their condition should always be voluntary. Keep them under surveillance, if you are afraid of them, but do so unobtrusively.

GOOD LUCK.

Isn't it pretty to think so?

reply

But, they do anyway including the U.S..

reply

Yes, unfortunately so.

reply

As far as we know, the government was interested in her only as a person who had a stolen identity.

reply

No. She even said she feared they wanted to study her. You might be right, but I don't blame her for being afraid,

reply

What Adaline feared and what the FBI wanted her for could be entirely different. The movie never stated what the authorities wanted her for other than her false (as they suspected) ID.

reply

The ID wasn't false. It is just that she forgot to change it after the accident. No, it is not said what the government wanted her for, but they no doubt would have found out about her accident, how it changed her. Then they might have kept her for scientific research. If I knew someone in her situation, I sure would think the government would do that.

reply

I know it was not a fake ID. I said the FBI probably suspected it was as she did not appear to be the age listed on the ID.

reply

Tell that to E.T. He went back HOME because exactly the opposite happened.
