Please be a theatrical release!

This could be one of those movies that restores not only the magic of seeing films at the theater again.....but also reminds people how fantastic Mel Gibson really is.

There haven't been many movies in the past 10 years where there really was some magic to seeing it at the theater, but there have been a few. Some that come to mind include:

Avatar
Maverick: Top Gun II
Casino Royale
SKyfall
Avengers Endgame

Back in the day, going to the movies was an event. You couldn't wait until Friday, when that movie you've been waiting for finally hits the theaters. There was great build-up with previews, trailers and reviews in the newspaper. And that whole shared experience in the theater really added something. It was an event.....a night OUT.

Nowadays, people are so lame....and the fact that they prefer streaming a movie in their living room and staying IN (yet again), just seems sad and pitiful to me. There's just something fun about going OUT, and having a shared experience.

It's like the difference between going to a really cool sushi restaurant.....and picking some up in a plastic container at Kroger.

SMH. One of 1,000 different reasons I shake my head at this generation.
One of the other reasons: That ridiculous, dumbass hairstyle where it's shaved on the sides and is poofy and curly on the top like a poodle.

Today's youths have ropey little arms, and ridiculous, poodle haircuts. WTF??????

It also costs money to go to the movies these days. And there's no guarantee the movie will be worth it. I'm all for the theatrical experience but I get why some folks just stay home.

Read reviews first, then decide if it will be worth your financial investment.
