She can cause distractions. That's pretty much it right? She has weak offensive power. I suppose she could be useful starting a fire in the wilderness.
shareFunnily enough in the first episode of X-Men TAS, she uses her powers to knock a sentinel backwards then later can't do anything to one with her powers. But she did blow a few up sentinels in the episode The Final Decision. But other than that never got to do much.
shareAs a kid I never questions Jubilee being part of the team, even if she never showed her powers. But back then as a kid I also never understood Gambits powers. Wolverine was also just a strong man with claws. She was only part of the team to be the stand-in for us kids.
But yeah, when I revisited the show in the 2000s i was pretty shocked how "useless" Jubilee was. As character I still like her, but as X-Men... Then I also understood why she was never a bigger part of the Team in the X-movies.
She was the perpetual damsel in distress - lol
or perhaps there just for the drama
Anyways - xmen, much like the rest of the superhero universes are weird. Great for 12 year olds, which was my age, but if you ever spend any amount of time thinking about it, they should all be dead after meeting one of the super enemies. In the cartoons and in films, even the ones without any indestructability perks appear to have spunge bodies when it comes to taking on damage. It's hollywood and comic BS combined all in one.

shareFor it to have any sort of realism, they all have to have the invincibility perk - everything else should be just an add on.
Again, it's a syndicated show and comic book series. None of them ever die or get seriously injured in most battles against super enemies. This was never supposed to be realistic. If it was realistic, they would all have indestructible body mutations.
