Enough with improv comedy!

It's incredibly stupid.

The reality is the number of comedies that have ever been able to pull off improv is very limited.... Frankly I'm not sure any of the current comedies can even do a half ass job of it let along pull of an entire show as they would need to do in this turd burger. In his prime Robbin Williams could have done it, but that's about the last comedian I can think of that could do it.

I'm not a fan of Apatow's films, but I think this show is extremely funny. The guests vary in their ability to pull it off. Conan has been the best so far (I've not yet watched the final episode), but all episodes had some great moments. I have never seen a show implement improv in this manner, and it is working quite well as far as I'm concerned.

This sounds like an idea a couple guys got with a lotta coke up there noses.

By the way, “improv” is short for “improvise,” and improvise sounds much more adult than improv.

Do they also sing songs, like on Cop Rock?

I just read a lot of reviews on IMDb. Those who LOVE the show proclaim
that they love “silly fun.” I despise what folks call “silly fun” because I have gone through puberty and university; so, pas pour moi.
