The push of modern leftist ideology, often hyperfocused on race, gender, and sexuality over other attributes. A deconstruction of traditional moral values and societal roles. The desire to portray men as weak and women as strong, masculinity as toxic (unless some of these traits are applied to women), white people as bad and minorities as good. The desire to believe that the world is overly sexist/racist/etc... and to apply that mentality even to situations which don't warrant it. A trend toward general forced diversity, as well as race swaps in media (only applicable to traditionally white characters, however). And in conjunction with this there's the concept of "hate speech" as a way to limit freedom of speech. The need to apply inflammatory labels and shut down those who don't agree with said ideology or it being injected everywhere (it's ironic that you think it's other groups starting these culture wars), and to cast the widest net possible to apply these labels whether it's logical or not. Etc. Etc.
