If we left it at the Crystal Skull Marion and Indy would be married and mutt still alive.Indy was still able to move and not sure why everyone things the Dial is a great send off for the Character.

Because Mutt Was thankfully killed off. Indy went through an existential crisis came out of it. Had one "last"adventure. Stayed with Marion, we found out Sallah is now living near Indy with his family. Lots of good stuff. We also find out Indy still is not finished with his adventures. The actual send off to the character was seeing Indy in the 1990's. Sure they don't include those scenes but they were broadcast and we know Indy lives into his mid 90's and still has a sense of Adventure...

Nothing. It's nothing more than a shitty Kathleen Kennedy fanfic. Best if you treat it as such, and pretend it doesn't exist at all. People do that with Star Trek V and Alien 3, this film shouldn't be any different.
