Box office tracking is looking worse by the day and the early Cannes reviews really killed a lot of whatever hype was left for it to. I could see it opening worse than The Flash

shareI'd be fine with this flopping. I'm still hoping for an enjoyable film. Which I think we'll get. Because generally I believe that most movies can be enjoyed unless you're intent on not enjoying it. But I'd be fine with it flopping just so that Disney doesn't feel tempted to backtrack on it being the end. It's nice, and nowadays rare, for a franchise to get a definitive finale, and you know if it hits 1 billion opening weekend up, Disney will have their hackles up, trying to figure out how to deliver more, considering TV series and recasting, Ford's wishes and previous declarations be damned

It can easily open worse, and worse is, its budget is a bit higher than Flash's. Insanity backed by pure and stupid greed.
