i know movies exist on CONFLICT, I get that, I really do, but this premise feels dumb to me. tha had me up until they were supposed to "take the ISS".
i dont care what their "orders" are, they are friends, and scientifically, is completely stupid to battle each other mindlessly. scientists and astronauts are smarter than this.
just cant get behind this concept.

oh, I'll eventually try to watch it, but I suspect I will quit in the middle.
it could have been cool survival thing, maybe they work tgether to convince the governments the other has stopped warring and they save the planet. we'll see, but I doubt it.

It looks interesting. There would need to be a compelling reason why they must take control of the I.S.S..

Hollywood sci-fi films always feature 'scientists' who are dumber than bricks.

I wish there was a bit more reason to this film- its the weakest element about it. These supposedly smart characters just revert to baser instincts and killer in an enclosed space cliches so quickly.

I agree that the general premise of the film is dumb - but I just finished watching it and I suspect that this film was meant to be treated allegorically.
