The future looks promising for this Nigerian based animation/entertainment studio

I would like to see more.

"The future is bright for Nigerian Animation"

Yet it's still grim for indoor toilets throughout Abuja

reply

Not a bad comment seeing as how they did a more than adequate job in expressing both the highs and lows of life in Lagos. 👍

Highs and lows, including traipsing through your the content of your neighbors's bowels while walking down the street each morning? That's unusually gutsy, for a modern Disney flick

reply

I suppose they could do a "stepping in poo" joke. But lame to dismiss all of Nigerian sci-fi animation because you don't like Lagos. Have you been there? I'm curious why the strong opinion?

reply

My mother is half-Dominican, thus some of my ancestors are likely from Nigeria. Nothing against this nation(or any other)at all

reply

Haha. Okay. Fair enough. Curious to see this flick now.

"Limited" series and only 6 episodes.

This is great and long overdue that Disney and American media is using Africa as sci-fi inspiration.

I say this because Marvel and Disney's "Black Panther" was a farce which put characters from Nordic mythology in blackface.

Draw on African traditions for sic-fi. Brilliant!

reply

I look forward to seeing this on DVD.

reply

Yeah. I was a bit put off by "Black Panther" because they could have drawn on African mythology, yet they copied the Nordic mythology of Marvel.
