Walked out

Not sure what Ridley Scott was going for, but this wasn't it. Who wants to watch a movie about a great military leader that's all about his troubled marriage. Barely any battle scenes. Left around the 2 hour mark

Some people find human interactions more interesting than shootin' and blowin' stuff up.

I thought the way he interacted with his wife was fascinating actually. They had one complex and odd relationship.

If anyone's interested, I reviewed the movie on my youtube channel. Appreciate any feedback. Trying to improve -https://youtu.be/LUy0WAThh0k

I am guessing that is a part of we make movies for women trend.

The film is backloaded in regard to battle scenes. They occupy most of the last hour of the film.

And the first 90 minutes aren't really all about his troubled marriage. There's also a lot of politicking going on.
