I see a sequel in the future

Doubt it as reviews are bad. Word of mouth will actually hurt this movies chances to rake in big $

That stupid Taylor Swift movie is going to wipe away all the money anything can make domestically after this weekend, so hopefully it can do great worldwide. If not, the new Exorcist maze at Halloween Horror Nights will make back a lot of that $400 million they bought the rights for.

reply

So now we are blaming Taylor Swift when a horror movie cannot make money during the halloween season? The people going to see a Taylor Swift concert movie were never going to go see an exorcist film, these two types of movies could not be more different from each other.

reply

Well to be fair, they should've pulled a "Barbenheimer" type of marketing combining her concert with this dumb movie and it probably would've made more than 28 Million which really, is pretty bad when you consider how much they invested in this franchise??

reply

Duping Taylor Swift fans into thinking they wanted to see an Exorcist film because Swift made a 1 minute cameo would have been easy.

And I agree 28 million is good for a slasher film with no budget but this is purportedly a sequel to the biggest horror film in history.

There’s a movie about Taylor Swift?!? The world must be ending

reply

It's a documentary about her tour I believe. But her fans are going to crowd out every movie theater in the country and nothing else will make much money except for it.
