If you saw it, then you know the original cast was in it too. Sequels often incorporate new characters.

then another ghostbusters movie had the same actors from ghostbusters 2 but that movie isnt called a reboot. even though there are new ghostbusters in it. the other ghostbusters show up as cameos as the movie was not about them but the new ghostbusters.
There called cameos, and the characters arent in ghostbusters 2016 just the cameo apperance from the actors, hence why its a reboot.
