I don't know if a race swapped cast is enough to make this any different from the 90s classic. Kudos for it being rated R.

It doesn't look very promising based on the director and the cast. This feels super unnecessary.

Well the cast is Black and its rated R. That's enough to warrant a remake in Hollywood's eyes.

the original was only made bc Christina Applegate was on Married with Children. Yeah, technology is really outdated from the 1991 movie. But this is why the remake won't work. They can instantly check her age references etc now.

Wait, it's rated R? Huh, missed that. At any rate, that trailer was awful in terms of editing. They could had just cut off to the babysitter being introduced.
