The original cut of Justice League wasn't all that good. But at least it was first DCEU movie were Superman acted like Superman.

I don't know. Snyder has done some good movies, too. Watchmen wasn't perfect, but I thought it was a pretty good attempt at a faithful adaptation of a challenging graphic novel.

My answer 2 days ago would have .....Absolutely NO....after BvS BOTH The theatrical Cut and Ultimate Cut were Brutally awful, IMO BvS is literally the biggest creative failure in Hollywood history and what Snyder did with that movie is unforgivable.
Then came Justice League 2017 and Literally Never in a million years would I have ever believed anything remotely resembling a good movie good be made out of that Frankenstein monster...
Buuuuuuuuuut I watched The Snyder Cut and I'm absolutely Blown Away...Its actually IMO a good movie and It some parts great.
I had absolutely no interest in The Snyder Cut, IMO Snyder does not understand nor care about The DC characters, I dont think any of His "DC" film can succeed in the way The Studio would want because The General Public does not seeing these characters the way Snyder does and that includes this Cut of Justice League.....
Buuuut with that said, IMO I do admit somehow This is a good movie, Literally 100 times better than I could have ever expected.
It wouldnt have succeed theatrically, It wont get a sequel, Its 45 Minutes too Long, The characters and Snyder Vision/plan are still wrong ....But Impossibly...Its actually pretty good...
so to answer your question...NO after watching BvS and JL 2017....IMO no one should have expected anything but another SHIT SHOW......but IMO thats not what we got....we actually good a good film
If this version is really what Snyder wanted for JL then Joss Whedon made some very questionable changes and in result degraded the film instead of improving it.
The opening scene was fantastic and Cyborg and The Flash were better explored in this cut compared to the original.
Still though it's still not the vision of a DC film that I like I'm more into the original Richard Donner Superman or Sam Raimi's Spiderman formula for such film.
I said it before Snyder's biggest issue that he still wants to make superhero films in the style of Watchmen, he just needs to let go of that because that doesn't work with all superheros.
