Did we REALLY need this?

After the incredible documentary “The Rescue” (96% on Rotten Tomatoes, 8.6 on IMDB) that featured the *actual* rescuers, what’s the actual point of a fictionalized version with Hollywood actors? What new could possibly be said or shown about the event? Is it really about the Benjamins? Is Ron Howard THAT desperate for money? Really? And I heard there’s an impending Netflix series about it too???? Way to take a near-tragedy (in which at least one rescuer DID die), and hump its corpse until it dries up and blows away. SMDH.
